You will have an option of an en-route stopover to watch some of the interesting destinations known to the guide, as well as the other for lunch, before proceeding to your lodge for a relaxed evening, followed by dinner and a nap.
Day 3: Chimpanzee trekking and canopy walk

During the trek, you will pass through beautiful forest vegetation and may also see reptiles and other primates such as colobus monkeys and grey-cheeked monkeys. You will spend one hour watching the chimpanzees feed, play, and relax before stopping for lunch.
After lunch, enjoy a canopy walk along a 7-meter-high suspended bridge, the only one of its kind in Africa. From here, you can enjoy clear views of the park, see primates jumping in the treetops, and watch different bird species. Later, return to the lodge for dinner and a good night’s rest.

The gorilla trek will then begin and may take between 1 to 8 hours, depending on the location of the gorilla family. During the trek, you will also see different tree species, other primates, reptiles, and the beautiful scenery of the forest.
After the trek, return to the lodge for lunch, followed by an afternoon cultural visit to the Batwa pygmies. End the day with dinner and a peaceful night’s rest.
