Bakiga Lodge – Eco-Friendly Lodge Near Bwindi Uganda

Guides at Bakiga Lodge are always ready to lead you to nearby tourist destinations. To enjoy a safe and successful gorilla trekking safari, guests are advised to follow their guidance, as careless steps can lead to accidents or getting lost in the jungle.
A stay at Bakiga Lodge offers comfort at your own pace, but respect for the staff is encouraged, as they work hard to ensure you have a pleasant experience. The lodge runs on solar power to conserve the environment and uses harvested rainwater stored in ten tanks to provide a steady water supply to all rooms.
The compound is terraced and planted to reduce soil erosion, giving the place a natural and eco-friendly setting. In the evenings, campfires are lit to provide extra warmth and a traditional African atmosphere.
Bakiga Lodge has 12 cabins designed to suit different needs. Single cabins feature private balconies, carpeted floors, electricity, charging sockets, tables, chairs, and hot and cold showers. Double and family rooms are also available, with larger space for groups.
Double rooms include king-sized beds, African-inspired décor, paintings, flush toilets, clean beddings, clothes racks, bathrobes, slippers, blackout curtains, and Wi-Fi. These cost an affordable price, so it is important to plan your budget in advance.
Twin rooms have two beds and are decorated with African art. They include showers with hot and cold water, bottled water, and other amenities, costing an affordable price per night as well.
Triple rooms are set for three guests, with three beds and amenities such as hot and cold showers, at a cost of about USD 130 per person per night.
