Day 1: Arrive in Kigali
Airport pick up from Kigali international airport by a professional guide from our company. Transfer to Volcanoes national park in the North West region of Rwanda. Relax and chill at the lodge till evening, have a Rwanda cultural exposure at the Iby’Iwacu Cultural Village.
Get to know more of Rwandan culture, traditions, beliefs, norms and the ancient ways of life. At this cultural village, participate in the local cultural practices like brew making from bananas, millet grinding on a stone, cattle rearing etc.
Also have a cultural representation of the Twa, Tutsi, and the Hutu tribes through the traditional dances and the cultural practices that will be exhibited at the community village. After, head back to the lodge for dinner and on overnight.
Day 2: Gorilla trekking & Departure
Wake up early for breakfast, hike to the parks headquarters for a short briefing about ones conduct during the trekking of the mountain gorillas. Head into the jungle in search of the beautiful gorilla species, Volcanoes national park has over 10 habituated gorilla families ready for trekking.
Have a lifetime primate experience as you witness the beautiful gorillas, feeding, somersaulting, chasing, resting and feeding on the forest’s produce.
Have a one-hour interaction with the gorillas; take pictures to keep the memories with you. After the ultimate gorilla experience, travel back to Kigali for departure to your desired destination.
